The Dog Rambler's dog day out service is designed to help owners of active dogs to meet the needs for their dog’s exercise and welfare. Ensuring that your dog is well exercised is vital for its physical health and for its mental wellbeing. Dogs love the countryside - the open space, the new smells and a variety of places to walk and run all help to make for a healthy and happy dog.

The dog day out dog walking service costs £20 per walk (with no hidden extras). Pick up, travel to walks, and drop off are all included in the price of the walk. Discounts on block bookings are also available.

The walk
Your dog will enjoy a countryside walk in the company of no more than 4 other dogs. The walk will be at least 6 miles (usually taking 2-3 hours to complete).

Your dog will be collected in the Dog Rambler Honda C-RV between 08.00 and 10.30 and will be dropped off between 14.00 and 16.00. You do not need to be in for me to collect or drop off your dog, if you are happy for me to be a keyholder.

Your dog will be away from home for a minimum of 4 hours, in the company of The Dog Rambler and other dogs.

The C-RV is equipped with dog guards and dog harnesses are also available.

After the walk
After the walk, water and healthy homemade dog treats (dietary issues permitting) will be given to your dog. Your dog will be cleaned using dog shampoo, water and towel dried, if required. When dropping off your The Dog Rambler can feed your dog and ensure it has water and is settled etc. before leaving.

After each walk you will be emailed an e-diary of the walk with photos. The e-diary help you to see what your dog has been up to and is also a reassurance that the dog has had a great day out.
